This is a very central question of faith. Not a few people were and are deeply shaken by descriptions of hell. These descriptions have very little to do with the Bible. However, this is only noticeable when you look at it in detail. It is an exciting journey, which admittedly takes some courage. The payoff for the brave is great, because whatever you take away from it, it has led you to a deeper engagement with the Bible. This includes statements about His purpose with this world. There is a good news that has been overshadowed for far too long by a threatening message.<\/p>\n

Amazingly, not only is hell in the Bible not found, but the reconciliation of all things is taught clearly (Col 1:20)<\/a> and more plain texts on the subject are found, such as the quote below. It is amazing because many people have never read these texts, but they are part of the Bible and therefore were important to the writers at that time. They are rarely or never cited in the faith communities wherein hell is taught.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Credible is the word and worthy of every welcome (for to this we labor and are reviled) that we rely on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially believers. This instruct and teach.<\/em><\/p>\n
