Conversation and Counseling

Supporting development and transformation

What’s next? Perhaps you’ve decided to chart a new course and would like to embark on a journey of transformation. This is where I can offer concrete support. I’ll listen to you, evaluate your experiences and ideas together with you, and work with you to develop a plan for the next steps. Together, we’ll develop a vision, concrete guidelines, and clear milestones along the way.

It’s more about life than about doctrine, more about direction than about rules. My goal is to create a space for life and faith, whether on a personal level or as a community.

Rethinking Faith. Theology that supports, not burdens. Moving away from obligation, toward freedom.

Personal support

Balancing life and faith can be challenging, especially during periods of deconstruction and reorientation. Would you like to discuss your situation in a supportive setting? I offer professional coaching and will guide you on your journey. The initial consultation is free; further coaching is provided for a fee.

What I offer

  • Coaching and support via video
  • Especially for people from evangelical circles and Christian free churches who are (or would like to) rethink their faith.
I am looking for personal support

Community building

No one believes alone. A Christian community aims to be a space for life and faith. How can this be achieved? What role does theology play in lived Christian culture? What might a faith community of the future look like? For a community, this is an exciting journey that usually takes years. What steps can be taken to move it forward? How do we invite everyone to join in?

What I offer

  • Lectures and lessons (online or on site)
  • On-site project support lasting several days
  • Workshops on community development
  • Advice on transformation processes.
We are looking for support in a joint project

The first step

What could a conversation look like? What do you want to achieve for yourself personally or in your faith community? This is best clarified in an initial, free consultation.

I live in the Netherlands and work primarily with people and communities in German-speaking countries, either online via video or on-site for projects lasting several days.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I want to move forward

Coaching and support

My goal is to bring together what it means to be human and what it means to be a Christian. Freedom requires maturity, both in personal and theological matters. Both can be developed. A personal conversation is the best way to get started.

Shaping positive change

How and what you believe is part of your story. This can be communicated, reflected upon and developed further. Do you want to facilitate positive change in your situation or community? I can accompany you. It’s good if you don’t have to tackle transformation alone. My motto: help where possible – and refer where necessary.

Faith and the reality of life

Sometimes the transition between pastoral care and psychological help is fluid. Faith is not the answer to everything, even if it is sometimes presented that way. Through discussion, alternatives can often be found together that provide concrete and pragmatic help.

Experience and approach

For decades, I have been guiding individuals and groups in churches and independent congregations. I encourage people to rethink faith and faith communities. In doing so, I like to ask uncomfortable questions—in search of better answers. With this in mind, I offer help that empowers people to help themselves.

Private or for the community?

Both are possible – personal assistance as well as community development in company.
